Frostbite is a winter competition run over five months, November to March. The scoring is handicap based to allow existing archers and beginners to compete side by side.
Rules:
36 arrows shot at a distance of 30m on an 80cm face. 10 zone scoring. Arrows to be shot is 3’s.
Scores:
Scores should be sent to the competition organiser at the beginning of the month for the previous month. You can shoot as many times as you like each month, but only your best score should be entered for the competition. The aim is to improve your score each month to gain points.
All participants will be allocated a handicap at the beginning of the competition.
Archers who have taken part in previous years, an average of their handicap will be used.
New archers can submit 3 frostdbite scores during the month of October, or the 3 latest 252 scores, and a handicap will be allocated from these.
The Archery GB table “Score for three dozen on 80cm face” will be used to allocate handicaps.
